A Weekend in Wales original

While it was blowing a hoolie outside thanks to Storm Darragh, I was busy painting some calm water. This was inspired by a very cool photo belonging to a dear friend taken on a trip to Wales. This particular scene is Lynnau Mymbyr viewpoint, near Capel Curig. Loved capturing the dramatic light and moody movement in the sky.

This original painting is acrylic on an unframed 29.5cm x 42cm stretched canvas. It's finished off with a thin layer of gloss varnish to make the water glisten. Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
